With just 8 days remaining in our HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER campaign, brace yourselves for the flurry of revelations and exclusive first looks that we promised at the launch of this campaign including the reveal of David Seidman’s final cover artwork, Francesco Francavilla’s blacklight poster artwork, and perhaps most exciting… details about what Dr. Colm Kelleher and George Knapp have planned for the Declassified Edition and the collectible Classified File Folder included in our limited tiers!
Today, we’re thrilled to share exclusively with you some of the initial design and development work that artist Valeria Burzo has done for the new HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER graphic novel. These initial pencil sketches give you just a taste of how Valeria will be visualizing the phenomena at Gorman Ranch for the first time!
When we asked Valeria for her thoughts on HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER and how she approached designing the visuals in the graphic novel, she had this to say:
“I'm really happy to be part of this project, I'm very excited to be able to work on the paranormal.
The story focuses a lot on feelings of alienation mixed with fear of the unknown, I will definitely work on striking visual contrasts to give a strong visual impact.
It will be important to have very descriptive illustrations, in addition to a strong contrast of shadows and lights and the emotional side being important in this story, it is certainly very important to accurately reflect the numerous elements of this story in the drawing. It's all very exciting!”
