It’s been an exciting week for our BOOM! DIRECT RESERVE campaign for HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER and we want to keep this amazing momentum going!

And we know that there’s nothing more exciting in a Kickstarter campaign than unlocking Stretch Goals, so with that in mind, we’ve revised our first Stretch Goal to $35,000 and our second Stretch Goal to $60,000. Additionally, as promised, we’re thrilled to share with you an exclusive first look at dark surrealist illustrator David Seidman’s preliminary designs for the two HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER books that are available exclusively through this campaign. David has done a marvelous job of incorporating the more traditional, natural elements of the skinwalker into the graphic novel cover (left) and the otherworldly, extraterrestrial elements and Gorman Ranch itself into the book cover (right).

What’s even more thrilling is that David is creating these illustrations to work as a single connected piece of art that illustrates the gateway between unknown dimensions and worlds found in the Uintah Basin, making the set of the two books even more compelling!

David is hard at work on finishing these two pieces and we can’t wait to share them with you!

George Knapp Talks HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER Declassified Edition on WEAPONIZED Podcast

Our HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER campaign is heating up and jumped 20% in the last 24 hours and we’re excited to welcome all the new customers who have joined us on this journey into the unknown.

Co-author of HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER and veteran journalist George Knapp talked about the campaign on Weaponized, the electrifying podcast he co-hosts with filmmaker and frequent collaborator Jeremy Corbell, earlier this week. Jeremy, of course, elevated the story of HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER with his 2018 documentary, available streaming on Hulu right now. In the clip below, George gave us all a glimpse at his and Dr. Colm Kelleher’s plans to update and expand their groundbreaking book through this campaign. Plus as bonus, George revealed his connection with comic books as a storytelling medium on the show!

We’re as excited as George and Colm to deliver the first ever hardcover edition of HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER, and even more excited for them to share photos and documents that have never been made public before.

Based on your feedback, we’re excited to reveal that we’ve added a brand new Tier to this BOOM! Direct Reserve campaign for HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER.

While the HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER graphic novel and Declassified Edition were previously available in a slipcased set with the exclusive HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER t-shirt, as well as individual Add-On Items, it brought to our attention that there was no way for interested customers to reserve just a set of the Slipcased Editions of the two books.

But no longer! Because starting today, you can reserve the new Tier 6 for just $110 to receive a set of the HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER graphic novel and Declassified Edition in their beautiful slipcases while saving 10% over ordering them individually. The complete revised Campaign Tier chart has been updated on the main campaign page as well as a revised Shipping Prices chart so you can reserve the tier that best suits your needs.

And as a reminder, the final versions of both books will feature new cover images by dark surrealist illustrator David Seidman created exclusively for this BOOM! Direct Reserve campaign.
